A Virtual Assistant is a new administrative profession, created by Stacy Brice, President of AssistU (the first virtual university for training Virtual Assistants), to meet the administrative needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as the needs of any busy person who could use some top-notch administrative support.
Virtual Assistants are not bound by geographical boundaries as they communicate by email, fax, phone, and the Internet. Therefore, our clients can be located anywhere in the world!
Working with a Virtual Assistant (or VA for short) is different from working with a temp or secretarial agency. A VA works with you, not for you, towards a common goal.
As a VA, I am interested in establishing a long-term, mutually beneficial, personal and professional relationship with my clients. I like to work as a team with my clients (to “partner” with them), so that I can learn more about them, their business, their goals and dreams, and how I may best help my clients to achieve them.
